Chi Junky invites you to the most stunning and luxurious retreat center that will take your breath away and leave you completely zenned out. Nestled on 700 acres of land with more than 25 kilometres of beautiful hiking trails immersed in the forest, wetlands and lakefront, just 20 minutes north of Kingston on Loughborough Lake. The stunning architecture of this new retreat center boasts grand floor-to-ceiling windows with scenic views in every room. No detail is left behind with a large living room complete with a library and fireplace, a magnificent yoga studio that overlooks the lake and a dining area with 35 foot ceilings. Each guest room has its own private en-suite with a warm design that will make you feel right at home. Along with daily yoga and meditation, farm to table vegetarian meals and an atmosphere that welcomes deep rest, it is the most spectacular getaway that will transcend you into bliss all weekend long.
About the retreat
Experience deep rest and tranquility, connecting to the healing power of nature, daily yoga, meditation and indulging your taste buds with the culinary magic of organic farm to table meals. A scenic drive 2.5 hours from Toronto, check in is at 4pm Friday afternoon with time to settle in before our first practice to start the weekend together. Post practice we will gather for a beautiful dinner followed by a relaxing evening restorative practice. Take time to rest by the fireplace in the cozy living room with a book, journal or conversation. Saturday morning is yours to sleep in or wake up early to take in the fresh air. Coffee and tea is available anytime. We start the day together with a morning practice in the lakefront studio followed by lunch. The time is yours in the afternoon to explore, snowshoe, ice skate on the private rink, hike or rest before our afternoon practice followed by another beautiful meal together. Saturday afternoon we will also have the sauna going for a relaxing sweat and lake cold plunge. Our evenings are capped off with a restorative practice to wind down the day and settle into a restful sleep. Sunday will start with our morning practice followed by brunch. Check out is at 12pm but you are welcome to enjoy the outside property for the afternoon to connect deeper into nature. The winter retreat strives to provide an incredible experience with a location that will simply wow you, delicious nourishing meals and of course, Chi Junky Yoga.
